Values of Family Love

You don't realise just how important those baby bath bonding years are until your much older. You see each other grow into their life adventures. But the deep ties of family blood will always be there. Brothers, sisters, cousins, parents, aunties, uncles and grandparents are so precious.

And its not until you step out of your working bubble and into Christmas cheer you realise just how important their spirits are and impact your growth as a person.

One of my life resolutions is no matter how busy life gets, always make time for family. Because they are part of your jigsaw and to keep your friendship alive takes nurturing.

Open your mind to connect to each other's worlds. And as you grow the love you share will bring a pool of unconditional strength, love and happiness.

Family isn't just for Christmas its for life, take them with you!

Forever Smile :)

It Sort Of Just Happens...

But... How?

How does it just... happen?

Don't you ever plan to do something and something else derives you into a whole new direction.

Take for instance your on a journey from A to B but somehow you forget F, get lost in G and P helps you find X and together you make your way through M and eventually get to B... Confused? Yep, so am I... But you got to B in the end... Hooray!

In the other words, life isn't a simple direct route... Time doesn't have a short cut, it just ticks! But within a lifetime of ticks are multiples of connections. Connecting pieces of information. It could literally take one phone call or forgetting your keys that could lead you to being two minutes late, meeting your future partner at the bus stop and one thing leads to the next....

Some people can't help but think "What If".... Well what about "if I hadn't of done that... I wouldn't have done this... And if I wouldn't have done this... I wouldn't have met..." It goes on...

Life's an open door full of opportunities, moments of great things... You may not know how important that party was until 30 years later when you realise D gave you the idea to travel to S and there you made trillions oh and your best friend W met her future partner Q all in one night...... !

The more you learn from your families history and take time to reflect over your life... The more you start to see how everything just fits into place.

So when your lost in G and forget F, shrug your shoulders and smile... Don't loose hope in the midst keep your faith and B will come. It may take a while but you'll get there and on your journey make the most of every opportunities. Let's face it a life full of all the letters in the alphabet would be much more fun than just going from A to B.

Quote of Today

Create whatever you want, the World is your Stage!

- Brandon Mallipal

"Hand in Hand - The Grounder and Creator"

We can all help each other in this world we live in...

What we can offer to the "grande table" of life should always be valued as our own unique gift.. whether it is creative or grounding... giving or receiving. Every one of us has an identity and passions.

There is always space for thoughts of self-improvement and developing your unique self through what life offers you. We never stop learning... life is a lesson and all the challenges and people we meet along the way help connect the pieces and make us aware of what makes us tick...

Our environment and what we do and see all connect. From the subjects we take at GCSE, A-Levels, Degrees, Holidays, families, friends, our first jobs... they all entertwine and play a part in our journey through life.

Whether we have fulfilled in the last few years more of our creative mindset or our rationality... they both work together. Don't ridicule and mock the boring banker or the flamboyant actress on stage... Because they both help each other.

One offers the other to dream and be inspired. The other offers to help keep your feet on the ground and live a sustainable life.

My thought I have for you is even if your life leads in one particular direction for example doing financial consultancy in an office or creating scripts, music and entertainment... remember to open your heart and mind to explore the other half of your brain. (Even if you couldn't think of anything worse than talking politics at your uncle's friend's house.) Because it's there! Whether you felt "I can't do maths" or "I'm not getting on that stage." Life is an opportunity. What we throw into our cooking pot is what we get out!

So open your windows, let the fresh air in and see what you could explore about yourself to take on your journey of life.

"The Pit of Shit"

No money... Annoyed... Angry... Mess... Noise... Burn't toast... Late... Rushed... Tense... Worried... Scared... Cold Tea... Split Ends... Useless... No Good... Bags Under Your Eyes... Tired... Rubbish...

Experienced any of these?

It takes courage and determination to get yourself  out of feeling miserable... but sometimes life takes you to these places.... and do you know what??.. It's ok to feel. I mean if we weren't to feel we wouldn't be human... everyone has their downs in life and we all experience different challenges and hardships, in many ways.

You can end up in a very dark place.. this place I call "the pit of shit" the more you throw your toys out of your pram, feel rubbish the more "shit" gets chucked in! It can go on and on until you can hardly breath and it can be the hardest climb of your life to get out... quite literally.

So...  How do I get out? How do I get out of feeling like this?

Everyone has different coping mechanisms... it's a life lesson to learn... how to pick yourself up and carry on. Like the First World war tune says, "Pack up your trouble's in your old kit bag and smile, smile, smile." There is no right or wrong. And we musn't judge one person's way of dealing with life's difficulties to another.

Whatever you have been through however big or small is important because you feel it!
Through my blog i'm going to share with you my experiences, coping mechanisms and what I love and makes me happy. And through my journey I hope to inspire and bring happiness to you. :)

The first nudge I'll leave you with is: to live a life in misery, let's face it would be miserable! But to live a life in happiness would be amaazzzing! So... climb out of your pit, breath the fresh air, you're alive, you're here.....  Let's go! :)

Pessimism v Optimism

Thoughts of today:

Pessimism/Negativity = verbal polution to society. It de-generates moving forward and productivity development.

Optimism/ Positivity = verbal energy to society. To be on a wave of happiness and love for a subject will generate goodness in productivity development.

Budgeting

Nobody teaches you how to budget, ok so i'm 22 and in no part of my education up till now have I ever really thought about budgeting. Yes to save the pennies in the piggy bank but never to the budgeting budgie!

Ever so peckingfully clever he sits on your shoulder and acts as the "No" voice on your shoulder. "No don't get those shoes, you don't need a starbucks... save your money" But it gets to a point where you feel like your missing out... the budgeting budgie restricts you from society and having fun!!

So let's put things into perspective... What are our individual upmost priorities us young need to think about as we venture into adult hood?

1. Food/ Water
2. Shelter, a roof
3. Clothes, Warmth

And those are the basic life essentials wherever you are in the world! Everything else are complete wowzas that should never be taken for granted. Travel, shopping, parties, presents, movies, festivals, starbucks, TV, internet, electricity and everything else we love are all our day to day luxuries! Ironwoman never had nail files i'm sure she probably just bit them or scratched a rock!

So... how do we cut back from our society spending money and not look like a cheapskate?

Balance.. it's all about balancing between earning money to live but taking time to do all the things we love doing in life... Let's face it life is for living and if we are happy we will be happy in all areas we project ourselves in.

Yes go through your accounts, circle everthing up, write down a list of expenditure.. rent, food, going out etc... Cut back the areas you can... money isn't the B all or end all.. its the little things in life which are priceless that cost nothing... making the most of what you have, being thankful for your health, family and friends!

The key.... More money in than going out...

Save for the future, have fun and keep smiling :)
